No one in Teresa's family had ever graduated from high school. Married at seventeen and the mother of six it seemed her future was bleak. Lacking education and job skills, how would she ever amount to much? What sort of example was she setting for her children? With BRIDGE Jobs Program she found the help she needed to overcome such tremendous obstacles and move on toward self-sufficiency and responsible citizenship. Graduating in May, 2004, she received her High School Equivalency Diploma, becoming a model member of society as well as an inspiration to her children and many others. "I believe success can be achieved by attitude, commitment and dedication." is Teresa's motto. This did not happen without support from many through money, time and energy. Bridge Jobs Program can only provide the tools and teachers as benefactors so generously contribute. | |
