Literacy Education for Women - LEW
|
|
A new program has been developed to help you, a woman with children wanting to make a better life for your family.
Starting in September, 2005 the LEW project will help women learn basic education skills. LEW stands for Literacy Education for Women.
Trained teachers will help you learn to read. They are caring and understand your situation. Childcare will even be available (at no cost to you) so you can bring your children along.
We will meet at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church (bus route #4). There is no cost to you to attend. This has been made possible by a grant from The Women's Impact Fund, developed by a concerned and caring group of Charlotte women. They know that you really want to learn to read and have provided the help you need.
Call 704-377-5371 and ask for Jessica Chadwick. She is delighted to help you on your way to becoming a reader.
