The TRUE MAN group spent the day fishing at Reedy Creek Park accompanied by their mentors.

                     "TRUE MAN" Leadership Program for Young Men Begins.

BRIDGE Jobs Program has started a leadership program for young men, aged 16 to 25, who are currently enrolled in any of its programs.  Meeting once a week, TRUE MAN stands for "true mentoring and nurturing."  The group's mantra is "A true man knows the way, goes the way and shows the way."

Focusing on developing a positive healthy lifestyle and self-respect, the young men will learn about making responsible decisions,living with consequences, chosing role models, anger control, avoiding fights, finding peace amid turmoil and giving back to their communities.

Activities include hiking and fishing trips, sports events, art and craft making, volunteer work and spiritual growth.  Mentors and tutors are invited to join in the development of the young men involved.  Classes are held at BRIDGE.
